It’s no secret that I love to travel. A lot. And this year more than ever I am doing my best to squeeze in as many weekends in the sun and city breaks as I can.
If there’s one thing I love doing, it’s capturing my adventures in photographs. I’ve really tried to up my photography game on my blog recently, and thanks to my amazing Olympus PEN E-PL7, I’ve definitely improved. My poor baby is broken at the minute though and about to be sent off for repairs *sob*. Whilst I await her return, I can’t help browsing cameras, y’know, just out of curiosity, (online window shopping is fun, right?), and I’ve been looking at Panasonic CSC Cameras which could be ideal for when I don’t mind carrying a larger camera about… Maybe I should collect a whole range of different cameras, just to be safe? 😝
Anyway, here’s where I’ll be exploring for the rest of the year…
➯ London (Walker Stalker Con), UK 💀🇬🇧
I’m starting my adventure with a trip to London tonight for another weekend at Walker Stalker Con with my brother, Robert. We attended last year and it was an insane weekend, and this year it’s bigger and better. If you’re a fan of The Walking Dead, you’ll well and truly understand how exciting a weekend of meeting the cast and seeing zombies is. I’m expecting a very empty purse and a camera roll full of expensive selfies by Sunday. Bring it on.
➯ London (#BlogConLDN), UK 👭🇬🇧
Just two weeks after my above trip, I’ll be heading back to London for a weekend with my fellow blogger girlies, Kirsty and Amy, for #BlogConLDN. There’ll be lots of brands, hundreds of other bloggers to network with, and a possible visit to a cat café the next morning…
➯ Bordeaux, France ⛲️🇫🇷
At the end of March, I’ll be flying to Bordeaux with Mumma Gibbs to spend two nights at the beautfiful Villa La Tosca. How amazing does it look?! I was lucky enough to win this stay thanks to Luxury Couples Guide, and I am beyond excited.
➯ Paris, France 🍷🇫🇷
Since my mum and I will be in France anyway, we might as well take a trip to Paris too, right? We’ll be entering April in the city of lights. I’ve been to Paris a couple of times previously and I adore the place. It’s one thing seeing photos of them, but when you step in front of the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triomphe, your breath will be taken away. (And you’ll probably end up taking approximately 28564975 photos.)
➯ Wroclaw, Poland 🏠🇵🇱
Having wanted to do a trip with fellow blogger, Kirsty Leanne, for such a long time, we jumped at the chance when we found an absolute bargain trip to Wroclaw for early April. The houses are an array of colours and are going to make for incredible Instagram photos.
➯ London (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), UK ⚡️🇬🇧
Yes. I’m going back to London yet again at the end of April to finally go and see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It’s no secret that I’m a big Harry Potter geek, and so I’m sat on the second row in the very centre to really be in on it all. I’ve heard amazing things and am praying it doesn’t disappoint.
➯ Amsterdam, Netherlands 🍺🇳🇱
Despite living in Hull and having easy access to ferries to Amsterdam, it’s still a place I haven’t yet visited! In early May, I’ll be heading there for a weekend of exploring and blogging with Laura and Tamzin.
➯ Ibiza, Balearic Islands 🍹🇪🇸
I’m a massive fan of beach party destinations, and I’ll be heading to Ibiza for the second time in mid June. My first time there was a crazy week, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Think cocktails, gigs, hangovers, and plenty of sleeping on the beach.
➯ York, UK 👰🏻🇬🇧
My best friend is getting married this year (I am so bloody excited about this!), and for the first time in my life I am officially part of a wedding. In fact, I’m the Maid of Honour, thank you very much. And with it comes my first time at a hen do! We’ll be heading to York in early July for a sophisticated weekend at the races, a show from Olly Murs (yum) and lots of prosecco and fun.
➯ Krakow, Poland 🏚🇵🇱
Now this is a trip I am very excited – and nervous – about. Back in my 2017 goals, I discussed how much I wanted to book a trip on my own. Whilst I’ll be going to Krakow with a group of other people, it’s all people I don’t know, so it’s kind of solo, right? I’m heading there on a press trip in mid July and will get to experience a tour of historical Krakow, Auschwitz, Schindler’s factory and the salt mines. I have a feeling it’s going to be incredible.
➯ Newcastle, UK 👯🇬🇧
My first ever hen weekend is shortly followed by my second ever hen weekend as I head to Newcastle in mid August, though with a slightly different vibe… We’ll be having cocktail making masterclasses before heading to a night with the Dreamboys including a VIP meet and greet. Aren’t Dreamboys big sexy strippers, you ask? Why, yes they are.
➯ Llandudno, Wales 🏔🇬🇧
Wales is a destination I’d never really considered, but when I won a stay there thanks to Laterooms.com, I promptly started Googling things to do. Now? I can’t bloody wait! I’ll be taking my brother along in early September and we’re planning a weekend of zip lining, mountain climbing and plenty of photography.
There we have it. A round up of my upcoming adventures for 2017. So far anyway. 😉 Still need to plan something for October, November and December, right…?
