…a blog I started over ten years ago when I had way more free time, fewer responsibilities, and significantly less lines on my face.

Then life did what life does – threw me a curveball in the shape of a surprise pregnancy – and I took an unplanned (but much-needed necessary) break.

Fast forward a bit, and now I’m back, rebranded, and blogging with a baby (okay, he’s a toddler now) on my hip and Marmite the cat judging me from across the room.

These days, you’ll find a bit of everything on here – honest chats about sex, love and dating (because some things never change), family life with my son and stepson (chaotic but wonderful), travel diaries, foodie finds, and whatever new experience I’ve said “yes” to lately (even when I definitely should’ve said no… but where’s the fun in that?).

I live in Hull – good ol’ Yorkshire born and bred – with my boyfriend, our beautiful blended family, and a whole lot of takeaway menus. I adore this city, I adore eating out, and I’m constantly on the hunt for my next adventure (or at the very least, a really good burger).

Oh, and by day? I work in the gaming industry – living the dream of being a professional nerd. League of Legends has my heart, and if you know the pain of being hard-stuck Bronze, then yes, we are friends already.
