7 things I’ve noticed since becoming a redhead

I first discovered hair dye back in primary school when my mum started using semi-permanent boxes on her hair, and so, of course, I wanted a go as well. Since then I’ve been through a lot of the rainbow – blonde, red, blue, pink, brown, black, purple, highlights, ombr√© – but now that I am back to red (all done professionally nowadays, of course), I’ve started to notice some things that I couldn’t quite remember from before… 1. Wearing red on red is scary. I mean, red is an awesome colour to rock, especially on a night out, but…

Sol Pelicanos Ocas, Benidorm

Blackpool with sun. That’s what they say about Benidorm, right? Quite honestly, they’re not wrong. But I bloomin’ love it. And being big fans of the TV show, we opted for the very hotel it was filmed in – Sol Pelicanos Ocas. Situated pretty much in the middle of town, we were just 300m away from Lavante beach and right next to an indoor marketplace, whilst a five minute walk took us straight to the strip with all of the bars and clubs. We were in a great location to reach all of the main attractions and yet far…

A Countdown of My Fave Fit Brits

A girl is never too old to have celebrity crushes. It’s a fact. And after discussing a number of swoon-worthy men with Sarah last night, I’ve decided to share with you all a top ten countdown of some fabulous Brits who make me weak at the knees. Disclaimer: the order is subject to change, cos y’know, they’re all awesome and win me over in different ways every time I see them. #yum 10. Hugh Laurie Sadly I couldn’t move Hugh Laurie any higher up the list because I think I’m a bit more in love with his character House than…

Consumed by Wanderlust and Craving Luxury

It’s no secret that I love to travel. I didn’t have my first holiday until the age of 18 and I’ve been making up for lost time ever since by taking advantage of any cheap package deals I can. Hotels I’ve stayed in have always been nice, clean and simple. Somewhere to sleep and shower after a long day of exploring the nearby food, shops and culture. This year, however, I was lucky enough to win a plush holiday to Mexico, and so I experienced my first ever 5* luxury hotel complete with swim-up rooms, elaborate decor and 24 hour…

I made a video!

Pretty much every night that I get into bed I’ll sit up on my phone for half an hour or so (okay, it actually probably ends up being like two hours or something, whoops!) watching random YouTube videos from bloggers and travellers and whoever else. And I always find myself thinking “I want to do that”. So today, I uploaded my first YouTube video – yey! 🎥 Quite honestly, I am clueless. I don’t really know how my video editor works, I don’t really know how YouTube’s upload process works. I clicked here and there and somehow got through it.…

Munching on the New Nando’s Summer 2016 Menu

¬† Back in May when exams were ruling my life (oh, I know, I’ve wittered on about them enough!), I was lucky enough to be invited along to Nando’s to sample their new summer menu. Being a gal that loves a cheeky Nando’s – so much so that it made an appearence in a list of 50 things that make me happy – I couldn’t wait to get stuck in, and now I finally have time to tell you all about the glorious grub, and no doubt make myself drool along the way. I was joined by my fellow Hull…
